The Dufwin Theater, Oakland, CA. Opened in 1928. At some point, it became the Roxie. The three rows of tiles were painted over and a streamline modern marquee was installed. When the Roxie went out of business in the 1980's the marquee came down, and the paint removed from the tiles.
The Clay Theatre, opened as anickelodeon in 1910 in San Francisco.
